Give Back to the Arts this Season!

12/15/2009 to 12/31/2009

The performing arts can brighten spirits and inspire creativity and innovation. This year at a time when so many are challenged to do more with less, give the gift of theatre and make a charitable donation to the Lincoln Theatre.

Please help bring 2009 to a successful close with a year-end charitable donation. With your support the Lincoln Theatre and the historic Shaw/Cardozo neighborhood will thrive, our artistic community will prosper, and a new generation of youth will flourish.

We have an outreach to over 100,000 arts patrons and under-served audiences throughout the DC metropolitan area. The opportunities to give back are endless.

- A gift of $100 will underwrite admission for 15 students to attend a special performance matinee.

- $250 can provide transportation for 10 elderly persons to attend a concert recital.

As a valued patron of the performing arts you are invited to become a member of the Lincoln Legacy Club. Your gift will help ensure that this historical venue continues presenting a diverse array of entertaining, educational and awe inspiring programming that highlights the best of performing arts, international culture and theatre.

You can increase the impact of your donation through workplace matching gifts, which also enables employers to direct their philanthropic giving to programs that are important to their employees. Your employer or corporation may even match volunteer hours served at the Lincoln with a monetary donation. To discuss options for a cooperative workplace matching gift program contact the Development Department at 202-328-6000 ext. 214

If you prefer to mail a donation, please make your check payable to the U Street Theatre Foundation, 1215 U Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009. All donations are tax-deductible as allowable by law. We welcome your calls at (202) 328-6000.
